Rutu Parna Farm

Our farm is out in the Mulshi district, specifically in Post Shileshwar along the Paud-Bhadas Road. We are quite close to Mahindra College, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. It’s a working farm, so the place is always changing depending on the season. Sometimes the fields are green and full, and other times we are just clearing things out and preparing the soil. There is a lot of manual labor involved, and our hands are usually dirty from working the land. We don't have a fancy office or a polished shopfront. Most of our day is spent outdoors, whether it’s raining or the sun is beating down. The Mulshi area is beautiful, especially during the monsoon when everything turns bright green, though the roads can get a bit messy with all the mud. We have some basic structures on the property for storage and for taking a break from the heat. It’s a quiet life out here in Shileshwar, far away from the noise of the city. People who are passing by on their way to the college or the hills sometimes stop to see what’s going on. We just take things one day at a time, dealing with whatever the weather and the land throw at us. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what we do. The farm is just a practical place focused on agriculture and enjoying the open space we have here.
