Rucha Enterprises

Rucha Enterprises is located at Shop No. 27, in the 526 Narayan Peth area. We are part of the Punit Apartments building, so it’s a mix of people living here and businesses running out of the ground floor units. Being in Narayan Peth means the streets are pretty narrow and always full of people, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. The shop itself is quite small. We have shelves lining almost every wall to hold as much as we can fit in here. It can feel a bit tight when more than two customers come in at once, but we always make it work. Most of the day is spent chatting with locals or organizing the stock that comes in through the back. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns minding the counter and cleaning up. The fan overhead keeps things moving, but it still gets pretty warm in the middle of the day during the summer months. We’ve got an old stool we sit on when things are slow, watching the traffic go by outside the door. There’s a lot of history in this part of town, and you can feel it in the old walls of the building. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around; we just want to keep the place running and serve the people who walk through our door for years to come.
