Ruby Opto Systems

Our small office is located at Flat No. 40 in Niyoshi Park 3, which is in Sanghvi Nagar, Aundh. Ruby Opto Systems isn't the kind of place you'd stumble upon while shopping, since we are tucked away inside a residential complex. We chose this spot because it's quiet and allows us to focus on the technical work we do. Most of our time is spent sitting at workbenches with various lenses and electronic components spread out in front of us. It’s detailed work that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. The office is basically a few rooms filled with testing equipment, boxes of parts, and a couple of old desks we’ve had since we started. We don't have a receptionist, so if the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. Usually, it’s just a delivery person or a courier. We make our own coffee in the small pantry and take turns cleaning up. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are trying to figure out why a particular system isn't working right. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. People usually find out about us through word of mouth in the industry. It’s a very low-key environment here. We don't wear suits or follow a strict corporate schedule. We just come in, do our technical tasks, and make sure the orders go out to the clients when they are supposed to.
