Rounak Hotel

Our place, Rounak Hotel, is situated right at the 5th Cross on Andrahalli Main Road. If you know Sai Chowk in Pimpri, you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy corner and there is always something going on outside our doors. We spend a lot of time managing the rooms and the small area where people sit. It isn't the kind of place with a lobby full of gold trim or anything. We have plain walls and simple beds because that's what people need when they are traveling through this part of town. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much in the mornings, but we got used to the noise a long time ago. My brother handles the check-ins most of the time while I look after the maintenance side of things. We usually have a few regulars who stop by whenever they are in Pimpri for work. We don't do much advertising; people just see the sign at the chowk and come in. Keeping the place clean is the main job. We spend half the day with mops and fresh linens. It’s hard work and the hours are long because someone always needs something at an odd time. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next guest to pull up. It’s a straightforward business and we don’t try to make it something it isn’t. We are just here at Block Noc1 C2, doing our daily work as best as we can.
