Rochi Engineers

Rochi Engineers is tucked away at 22/281/1 along the Krishnanagar Road in Taluka Mulshi. It is a busy stretch of road, and you can usually hear the trucks passing by throughout the day. Our workshop is a practical space where we deal with all sorts of mechanical tasks. There is always a faint smell of oil and metal in the air, which is something you just get used to after the first week. We have a few workbenches that have definitely seen some heavy use over the years, with scratches and marks all over them. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is hot outside. Most of the guys here live nearby, so we know the local area pretty well. We don't have a big reception area or a fancy sign; we just have our name on the door and our tools ready to go. When people come by, they usually just walk straight into the work area to talk to us. We spend most of our time fixing things or putting parts together. It’s honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than that. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take a break and sit outside on the stools until it comes back on. It is a simple way of working, but it suits us and the way we do things here. We often end the day by cleaning up the metal shavings and locking up the big heavy gate before heading home.
