Reliance World

You can find us over at Reliance World in the Vadgoensheri area, specifically near Lokhandwala in Andheri. It is a fairly busy part of the neighborhood and we get a lot of people coming in to ask about their phone connections or data plans. The shop is laid out simply with a few counters where we can sit and talk to customers about whatever mobile issues they are having. Since we are in Vadgoensheri, we see a real mix of people, from young professionals to families who have lived here forever. To be honest, the air conditioning in the shop is the best part during the summer months when it gets really humid outside. We handle a lot of the paperwork for new SIM cards which can be a bit tedious with all the documents, but it is part of the daily routine. We also have various gadgets on display, though we don't always have the very latest models the second they come out. The location is pretty easy to find if you know the Lokhandwala landmark. We spend a lot of our time explaining how the different plans work because they can be confusing for some of the older folks. It is a steady job and we have a good relationship with the other shop owners on the street. We usually keep some tea in the back and take turns going for lunch so the shop is never left empty during the day.
