Red Power Light

Red Power Light is located inside the Sakal Nagar Cooperative Society at 203/204/2 in Fathima Nagar. It is mostly a place where we keep electrical supplies and lighting stuff. The shop is usually full of boxes of bulbs, rolls of wire, and different kinds of switches. It’s not the most organized place, to be honest. There are wires hanging from hooks and testers sitting on the counter. People from the society come in when a fuse blows or they need a new tube light for their kitchen. I spend a lot of time testing bulbs to make sure they work before someone takes them home. It’s a lot of small talk about whose fan stopped working or why the streetlights are out again. The space is a bit cramped because of all the inventory we have to keep. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front window directly. I usually have a screwdriver or some pliers in my pocket. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is buried. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific part in the back room. We don't do fancy displays. If you need a light or a wire, you just come in and we find it for you. It’s a practical business for a busy residential area like this. We just keep the lights on for the neighbors.
