Raychem R P G

Our place, Raychem R P G, is situated out in Pimpalgaon Tarfe Chakan, specifically at plot 426/2B. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city, but this is where all the industrial action happens anyway. We deal with a lot of heavy-duty stuff, mostly things that have to do with power and protection for cables. The facility is quite large because we need the space for all the specialized equipment. You’ll usually see a lot of people in safety gear walking around the floor. It’s not a quiet office job. There's always something being tested or moved around on a forklift. Chakan is known for its dust and its factories, and we fit right in. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t mind the commute or the noise from the neighbors. We aren't here to give sales pitches or show off fancy brochures. Most of our work is technical and follows strict guidelines. The weather out here can get pretty hot in the summer, which makes the factory floor a bit warm, but we just get on with it. We have a lot of local guys working here who know their way around the machinery. It’s a steady place to work. We focus on getting the orders out to the power companies and making sure everything is packed up tight for transport so nothing gets damaged on the road.
