Our office is on the 4th floor of Manish Market in Raviwar Peth. If you know the area near Agresan Bhavan, you know how crowded it gets with people and vehicles. Getting up to Flat 19 is a bit of a climb, but it is where we do all our tech work. It is a small space filled with computers, tangled wires, and old keyboards. We are surrounded by the constant noise of the market downstairs, but once you are up here, it is mostly just the sound of cooling fans whirring. We handle various IT tasks, mostly fixing software issues or setting up systems for local people. It is not a polished tech hub with bean bags and free snacks. It is just a room with enough power strips to keep everything running at once. We often have several screens going, trying to figure out why a piece of code isn't working or why a server is running slow. Lunch is usually something quick from a food stall downstairs. We have stacks of old hard drives and manuals piled up in the corner of the room. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, which is a real pain when you are carrying a heavy desktop unit up those stairs. We just keep our heads down and get through the tickets and the emails. It is a busy life in a very busy part of the city.
