Rasoii

Rasoii is located over in Pimple Saudagar, specifically on Sultanpalya Main Road in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar. It’s a decent-sized place for the area. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen getting things ready for the day. The shelves are full of different containers and big spice jars. It's not always the most organized looking place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The front area has some tables where people can sit and eat. The lighting isn't very bright, but it does the job well enough. We have a small sink for customers to wash their hands before they eat. Sometimes the tap drips and we have to tighten it really hard to make it stop. The main road outside is always busy with bikes and cars honking. It gets quite dusty, so we have to wipe the tables down constantly throughout the day. We’ve been here for a while now and the place feels like home. The paint on the front door is starting to chip away in some spots. We don't have a big team, just a few of us doing the cooking and the cleaning. We get a lot of people from the nearby houses coming in regularly. It’s a simple setup and we don't try to be anything we are not. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a lot of standing.
