We aren't located out in the middle of a field, actually. Rammesh Kothari Agro-Foods Private Limited is over in Pune City, in Kothrud. Our office is in the Avaneesh E Wing, Flat number 501, right at Survey Number 23/2. It’s a bit different being in a residential building, but it works for the kind of food business we handle. Pune is a busy place, and Kothrud is always packed with traffic, so getting to the office can be a bit of a headache during rush hour. We spend most of our time dealing with the agro-foods side of things, connecting the stuff grown on farms to the city market. Even though we are on the fifth floor of an apartment wing, our roots are definitely still in the dirt. We talk to suppliers and transport guys all day long. It gets a bit noisy with the city sounds coming through the window, but we’ve gotten used to it. The space is small, just enough for a few desks and a place to keep our documents. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just us working on the computers and the phones. Being in Maharashtra, we have a lot of different foods to work with throughout the year. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure things arrive where they need to go.
