Ramdev General Stores

Ramdev General Stores sits on Upper Kondhwa Road in the Bibvewadi part of Pune. We are tucked away in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. It’s a busy little neighborhood with lots of families living nearby in the apartments. We opened this store because we saw that people around here needed a place to get their everyday supplies without traveling far. We carry things like pulses, rice, oils, and various cleaning stuff. It's a simple operation really. We don't have fancy lights or those automated checkouts you see in the mall. Just a counter and some wooden shelves. Being in Pune - 411037 means we see all kinds of people every day. Some are in a big hurry and some stay for a bit to talk about the weather. We try to keep the shop clean but with so many boxes coming in it’s hard to stay organized. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front counter. We’ve been in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar for years so we know the area very well. Upper Kondhwa Road gets a lot of traffic so there's always something happening outside our door. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything fancy like that. We just hope that if someone needs a packet of salt or some biscuits they think of us first. It’s a quiet life running a general store but it suits us just fine. We appreciate the people who stop by to shop with us.
