Our shop is sitting at Sadashiv Peth 2nd Cross, specifically in the 1st Stage at number 1647. It’s an old building, so the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the street. We do a lot of things related to phones and SIM cards. People come in to add balance to their accounts or to get a new number. The street outside is quite narrow, so there’s always a bit of a squeeze with the scooters and the people walking by. We have a glass counter where we keep the new models, and a smaller wooden desk where we do the paperwork. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside on the steps and talk to the guys from the tea stall next door. It’s a very local atmosphere here in Sadashiv Peth. We’ve known the family across the road for decades. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put the stock. We don't have any big marketing signs, just a simple board that has been there for years. People know us for being there when they need a quick repair or a new screen protector. It’s a simple business and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. We usually close up around eight and head home to our families.
