Raju Pan Shop

Raju Pan Shop is right on the Kammanahalli Main Road in Viman Nagar. This area is always full of energy because of the students and the young people working in the nearby IT parks. Our shop is a small little hut-like place on the sidewalk. Raju, that’s me, is usually behind the counter. I’ve been here for quite some time now. You can see the airplanes taking off from the airport nearby, which is always loud. The shop is packed with all sorts of things. We have the usual pan ingredients, of course, but also things like chips, biscuits, and cold drinks. Viman Nagar is a busy place, so we don’t get much rest during the day. People are always in a hurry. They want their pan made fast so they can catch their bus or get back to the office. I try to keep up, but sometimes there’s a line. The main road is always being dug up for some reason or another, which makes it hard for people to park, but they still find a way. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened. We don’t use any fancy machines, just our hands to wrap the leaves. It’s a simple business. We like the neighborhood and the people are generally nice to us. That’s about it for our little shop.
