About Rajhans Mini Market – Food & Beverages in Pune
I've been running Rajhans Mini Market here on Khondhwa Sion Trombay Road for a good while now. It’s at 6/A/4, just a small spot but we keep it packed with everything a kitchen might need. Most mornings start early, usually around seven, getting the crates inside and making sure the milk is cold. It gets quite noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it. People from the nearby buildings stop by on their way to work to grab bread or a packet of biscuits. It’s just me and a couple of boys helping out with the heavy stuff. We don't have fancy shelves, just enough room to walk through. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the road work, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. I try to keep the staples in stock—flour, oils, pulses, and the usual snacks. It's a simple life, honestly. You talk to the regulars about their kids or the weather while weighing out sugar. The floor needs a sweep every hour because of the dust from the main road, but that’s just how it is. It isn't a supermarket, just a local market where you can find what you forgot to buy. We close up around ten at night once the last few folks head home. It’s tired work, but it keeps the lights on. It feels good to be a part of the daily routine here.
