Rajeshwar Mobile & Accessories

If you go to Shukrawar Peth 651, you’ll find Rajeshwar Mobile & Accessories tucked in there. It’s a small shop but we’ve managed to pack it with almost every kind of phone cover you can think of. We have the ones with glitter, the plain black ones, and the heavy-duty ones for people who drop their phones a lot. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people walking past, so it’s never quiet inside. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out headphones or explaining why one charging cable costs more than the other. Usually, my hands are busy peeling off old screen guards and carefully putting on new ones. It’s a bit of a tricky job to get it perfect without any dust underneath. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like neighbors. Sometimes a customer comes in just to ask how to change a setting on their phone because they got confused. We don't mind helping out. The shop gets a bit messy with empty boxes and pieces of plastic, especially on a Saturday when it’s busy. We just keep going until the shutters go down. It’s a decent living and we get to meet a lot of different people every day right here in the Peth.
