Rajendra Devman Bedse

We have been at 81 Link Road in Chinchwadgaon for a good while now. Every morning starts about the same, turning the key and seeing the dust settled on the furniture from the road traffic outside. It gets pretty loud here once the commuters start moving, but you get used to the noise of the bikes and buses after a few weeks. Rajendra Devman Bedse isn't some big corporate office with a lobby. It is just a regular place where we show up and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask about something happening on the street. We keep things simple because that is how we like to work. There are files stacked up on the side and some old chairs for when people need to sit and wait. The fan stays on most of the day because it gets stuffy inside during the summer. Link Road is a busy stretch, so there is always something to look at out the window when things get quiet. We don't have a big staff, just us making sure everything stays on track. It is honest work and we have been in this part of town long enough to know the shortcut paths and the best spots for tea nearby. Most of our days are spent checking over details and making sure no mistakes are made. It is not always exciting, but it is our routine and we are glad to be part of the local community.
