We are up here on the second floor in Ambegaon. It’s part of the Omkarswarp Society. Mostly we just sit at our desks and handle technical things for people who need it. It’s not a big fancy office, just a regular space where we get the work done. Pune gets quite busy around here, especially in the afternoons. Shirish Patil’s place is easy enough to find if you know the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on computers fixing software or setting things up. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we manage. There are a few of us working together every day. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything. Usually, people just know us from word of mouth or they find the address. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, away from the main city noise. We’ve been here for a while now. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s practical work. Nothing too complicated to explain. We take our tea breaks together. Most of the files are kept in the back room. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers get piled up when we are busy with a project. It’s just how it goes in a small IT setup like ours. Most people we work with are local.
