Rajal Computers

Our shop, Rajal Computers, is over at Sadashiv Peth, number 5. It’s a small place, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. Sadashiv Peth is a busy area with a lot of history, and we like being part of it. We mostly spend our time fixing laptops or helping people pick out parts for their home setups. It’s not a big corporate store. It’s just a room with some workbenches and shelves full of old monitors and keyboards. Sometimes the place looks a bit cluttered because we have so many repairs waiting to be picked up on the shelves. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people just walk in because they live nearby and their computer started making a weird noise or stopped turning on. We try to be helpful without making things complicated. If something is going to take a week to fix, we just say so. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day, usually from the stall just down the street. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to become a huge chain or anything like that. We just like fixing things and talking to the people who come in. Sometimes we have old parts that are hard to find elsewhere. The street can be quite narrow, so parking is always a bit of a gamble for our customers. But once you get inside, it’s quiet enough to focus on the work.
