Sahyadri Computers

Our little computer shop is tucked away at Shop No. 6 in the Bhalerao Corner area. It’s right there at Siddharth Nagar on the Jagtap Dairy Road, which stays pretty crowded during the day with all the traffic. If you’re coming from Rahatni or Pimple Saudagar, you probably pass by our sign all the time without noticing it much. The Ramdev Market is very close too, so there’s always people walking by with their shopping bags. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just stacks of old monitors and boxes of tangled cables that I really need to sort through one of these days when I have a spare hour. We spend a lot of our time cleaning dust out of old fans and trying to figure out why some laptop won’t turn on for a customer. It gets pretty hot in here during the afternoon sun, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. We’re near Park Town, so we get a lot of students and office folks dropping by with broken screens or slow hard drives that need fixing. It’s definitely not a shiny showroom; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get repaired. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive from the city and customers get a bit impatient, but we do what we can with the tools we’ve got. I started this place a few years back and it’s just been a steady stream of reformatting drives and installing software ever since.
