Radiant Engineers

We started Radiant Engineers here in Flat-07 of Bhagirathi Niwas quite a few years back. If you know Chinchwadgaon, you know how busy it gets around Shridhar Nagar. Our space isn't huge, just a regular flat converted into an engineering office. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting here with some old desks and a lot of technical drawings spread out everywhere. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down when we are testing small components or just arguing over a design plan. Pune weather is decent most of the year, but the office gets a bit stuffy in May. We don't have a fancy reception or a coffee machine that works all the time. Most people just walk in and we talk across the table. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We handle local contracts and some small machine parts. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up walking the stairs which is good for the legs I suppose. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we spend half our afternoons when things get slow. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. It’s just how things are here, simple and focused on the job at hand without any extra fuss. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the name on the door.
