Rachna Furniture

Rachna Furniture is out in Bhosari, at 280/B Rajguru Nagar. If you know the Bhosari area, you know it is a lot of industrial stuff and people working hard. Our workshop is always filled with the smell of sawdust and glue. We have been making tables, chairs, and cupboards here for quite some time. It is a dusty job, and my clothes usually have some bits of wood on them by the end of the day. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of the stuff we make is sitting right there on the floor waiting to be finished or picked up. The street outside can get quite loud with trucks going toward Rajguru Nagar. We have our tools laid out on the benches—saws, hammers, and some old drills. It is a practical space. I usually spend my time measuring things out or talking to someone about what kind of wood they want for their kitchen. It is not like those big stores where everything is pre-made. Here, you can see the work being done with our hands. Sometimes we take a break and sit on the unfinished stools to have some tea. It is a lot of manual work, but seeing a finished wardrobe leave the shop feels good. The floor is covered in shavings, but that is just part of the business. We just keep building things.
