Our location is at 397 A Quater Gate Tejshree, which is right across from the Saikal Society in Rasta Peth. This is a very active part of town, and we’ve become a part of the daily life here over the years. Our office and work area are inside the Tejshree building. It’s not a particularly big place, but we make the most of the room we have. We have shelves lined with big containers and several large stoves that stay busy most of the time. There is no corporate vibe here; it’s just a bunch of us working hard and trying to stay out of each other's way. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our notebooks. We don't use any high-tech systems to manage our work. It’s a lot of physical activity, from hauling bags of rice to scrubbing down the counters at the end of the shift. The neighbors in the society across the road are used to the sounds and smells coming from our place. Sometimes the street gets so busy that we have to wait a while just to get our vans loaded up. We don't have any fancy branding or expensive signs. We just do the work that needs to be done every day. It’s a basic, honest way of living, and we’ve grown to appreciate the chaos of Rasta Peth. We just take it one order at a time.
