Our plant is situated at Gat No. 119 on the Alandi-Markal Road, right in Village Dhanore in the Khed area. We've been out here for a long time now, working with steel. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but the space we have out here in Dhanore is necessary for the kind of heavy work we do at Pushpak Steel Industries. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished goods waiting to be loaded onto trucks. It’s a dusty place and it gets very loud when the machines are running at full tilt. We don't have a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s an industrial site, plain and simple. We have a small crew and most of them have been living in the nearby villages for years. We eat our lunch together under the shade of the trees when it’s hot. We don’t go in for corporate talk or fancy presentations. If someone wants to know about our steel, they just come and look at it. We’ve had to deal with all sorts of weather out here, from heavy rains to extreme heat, but the work doesn’t stop. It’s just about getting the steel processed and out the gate on time. We like being part of the local community here in Khed. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't need things to be more complicated than they already are for us.
