We set up Purohit Communications at Shahibaug 63, which is near the Deccan Gymkhana area. It’s a busy part of the city. There’s always someone honking a horn or walking past the window. Our shop is a small unit, but it fits everything we need. We focus on communication stuff, mostly phones and things related to them. The walls are covered in posters that have been there for a year or two. We aren't the type of people to change things just for the sake of it. If it works, we leave it be. You might find some old boxes stacked in the corner because we haven't had time to move them to the back yet. It’s a real working shop, not a museum. People from Deccan Gymkhana come in when they have issues with their signal or need a new SIM card. We just sit here and do the work. It’s a simple life at Shahibaug 63. We don't have any fancy marketing plans. We just rely on the fact that we've been here for a while and people know us. Sometimes we close a little early if it's a slow day or if there is a festival happening nearby. We are just local residents who decided to open a business. There is no big mystery to it. We just hope to keep the lights on and help out whoever walks through the door. That is what we do at Purohit Communications. It's just a regular local shop.
