Purnima General Stores

We have been here in Somnath Nagar for quite some time now. It is just a small place where we keep the things people in Pune need for their homes every day. My father started this because there weren't many shops around back then. Now the area has changed a lot but we are still here in the same spot. Most of our customers are neighbors who have been coming to us for years. We stock things like soap, flour, some snacks, and milk in the mornings. It gets a bit crowded during the evening when everyone comes home from work. Sometimes the shelves look a bit messy because we are busy unloading new stock from the tempo, but we try to keep everything where people can find it. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. It is just a simple shop. If we don't have something you want, we usually try to get it by the next week. The fridge sometimes makes a loud noise but it keeps the drinks cold. Dealing with the distributors is a headache sometimes but that is just how business goes. We stay open until late so people can grab what they forgot. It is a lot of work standing here all day, but it feels good to know everyone by their name. Nothing special, just Purnima General Stores doing its thing and trying to be helpful for the neighborhood.
