Prunmiya Novelty

Prunmiya Novelty is tucked away in Vishrantwadi, and we have been here for quite a while now. If you walk in, you’ll see it’s a bit of a mix of everything. We have school supplies, small toys, hair clips, and those little gift items people buy when they are going to a birthday party last minute. It’s a bit cluttered, I’ll admit that, but I know exactly where every single item is kept on the shelves. The kids from the local schools come in after class looking for pens or stickers, and it gets pretty loud for about an hour every afternoon. My wife handles the front counter most of the time while I try to keep the inventory organized in the back room, which is always overflowing with boxes. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here on the main road. Sometimes the light in the back of the shop flickers a bit, and the floorboards near the entrance creak when you step on them, but it gives the place some character. We’ve seen a lot of shops in Vishrantwadi open and close, but we just keep doing our thing every day. It’s a simple business selling small things that people use in their daily lives, and we like the routine of opening up early and greeting the regular neighbors who walk past our door.
