Prudential Consultants is located in Viman-Nagar, which is one of the more active parts of Pune these days. Our office is actually inside a residential colony called Ashtavinayak Colony, specifically on the third floor. We are in a space that’s care of Mrs. Chouhan, so it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office building. Being in Somanath-Nagar within Viman-Nagar means we are close to the airport and all the shops, so there is always something going on outside. The walk up to the third floor keeps us a bit active, especially when the lift is being moody. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our computers and a lot of documents. As consultants, we spend a lot of time on the phone or writing up reports. It’s a quiet enough spot once you are inside, away from the main road noise. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and sometimes share snacks that people bring from home. It’s a very informal environment. We don’t wear suits unless there’s a specific reason to. Most of the time, it’s just jeans and shirts. We’ve been in this colony for a while and the neighbors all know us. It’s a decent place to work because it’s not too far from where most of us live. We just handle our clients and try to stay on top of the schedule every week.
