A. K. Abdujee

If you ever walk through Bohri Ali in Pune, you know how crowded it gets. Our shop, A. K. Abdujee, is located at 915 Budhwar Peth, right in the thick of all that noise and movement. We’ve been sitting in this same spot for a long time. It’s a small place packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. Most days involve moving boxes around and talking to people who come in looking for specific hardware or supplies. We don't have a big team or fancy displays. It's just us and the inventory. The street outside is always busy with carts and scooters, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We know most of the other shop owners around here. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we usually have what they need in the back somewhere. It’s not a modern showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s a traditional Pune shop. Sometimes the lighting isn't great and the shelves are a bit dusty, but we know exactly where everything is located. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is no corporate manual here. We just handle customers one by one and try to keep things moving. This neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same old address in Bohri Ali.
