You can find us at Survey Number 28. It’s a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from. Proton Power Control Pvt. Ltd is basically a workshop and a small office space. We deal with power stuff, controls, and wires. It’s mostly technical work that requires a lot of sitting and staring at panels. We don't have a lobby with magazines or free water. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few of us hunched over a workbench. The lighting isn't the best, but it's where we work every day. We’ve been at this for a while now. The name sounds a bit grand, but we're just regular people. We don't have a dress code, so you'll see us in jeans and old shirts most days. There’s always a smell of solder or dust in the air. We don't talk much while we're working because we need to focus on what's in front of us. When we take a break, we usually just sit outside on the steps and watch the trucks go by on the main road. It’s a quiet life at S.No. 28 for the most part. We handle the orders as they come in and try not to get behind on our schedule. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just keep the tools clean and the wires straight. It's a simple way to make a living, and we don't really complain about the work.
