Progressive Powercon Pvt Ltd is located at Sinhagad Road Bapu Nagar 12/3-A4/1/15/2. That address is a real mouthful when you have to say it over the phone to someone. We are tucked away in a corner of Bapu Nagar where the buildings are all clustered together. The workshop is a bit noisy because of the machines and the cooling fans we have running all day long. There are wires and metal parts scattered across the workbenches. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. Sinhagad Road is always packed with traffic, so the sound of horns is just part of our daily background noise. We usually have a big jug of water in the corner and a stack of plastic cups for anyone who gets thirsty. The light in the back room is a bit dim, so we have to use flashlights sometimes to find specific parts. Our team consists of a few people who have been working together for a long time. We don't really do much besides work on the power systems and take short breaks for tea. The concrete floor has some oil stains on it that have been there since the day we moved in. It is a practical space for practical work, and we don't spend much time worrying about how it looks to outsiders.
