Our office is at Surshree Niwas, which is house number 47 1 in the Daynesh Society in Madwadi. Sachin Kulkarni runs things here. It is a quiet residential area. This means it does not really feel like you are at a workplace. We do engineering stuff, mostly focusing on small parts and technical drawings. The room is filled with blueprints and some measuring tools that have seen better days. We do not have a big sign outside. If you are looking for us, you just have to find the right gate in the society. The neighbors are used to us being here by now. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick chat about what needs to be fixed. It is a small operation. Just a few of us work together. We do not have a human resources department or any of those corporate things. If there is a problem, we just sit down and talk it through until it is sorted. The light in the office is okay during the day, but we had to add some extra lamps for the evening work. Madwadi is a nice enough place, though it gets a bit muddy when it rains. We like the fact that we can just walk to the local market for lunch. It keeps things simple and we do not have to deal with the stress of a big office building. We just do our engineering work and try to stay organized.
