Prince Mobile Shoppe is sitting right in the middle of Hadapsar, at number 29. It’s a small shop, probably smaller than you’d expect if you saw the name on a map. We have glass counters filled with cases, chargers, and those tempered glass screen protectors that everyone seems to break. It’s usually pretty loud because we are right near the street and the traffic horns never really stop. I started this place because I liked taking things apart when I was younger, and phones were the only things I could find. Now, I spend most of my time replacing cracked screens for people who dropped their phones while getting off the bus or the rickshaw. We have a single stool in the corner for customers to sit while they wait, but usually, they just stand and watch us work through the glass. It’s not a corporate store with uniforms or name tags. I usually just wear a t-shirt and whatever is comfortable. We have a little drawer full of screws and tiny parts from phones that couldn't be saved, just in case we need a spare bit for a repair later. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can't update the software as fast as we want, but people around here are mostly patient. We know the regulars by name and they know we’ll tell them the truth about their device. It’s just a local spot where we try to keep people connected without charging too much. We stay open late most nights.
