Prime Mobile Shoppee

Prime Mobile Shoppee is located at number 37 in Deccan Gymkhana. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have so many phone covers hanging on the walls. Most of the time, the fan makes a little clicking noise that we just got used to. We have been in this spot for a while now, watching the street change outside. People come in looking for a new battery or maybe just a screen protector because they dropped their phone on the pavement. We usually have the radio playing low in the background, mostly old songs. The counter is a bit scratched up from all the phones being slid across it over the years. We keep a stash of rubber bands and screwdrivers in a plastic tub under the till. It’s not the biggest shop in Deccan Gymkhana, but we know where everything is, mostly. Sometimes the delivery guys bring the wrong boxes and we have to sort through them on the floor, which makes it hard for customers to walk in. We don't have any fancy displays, just glass shelves that we wipe down every morning. It feels like home to us because we spend more time here than anywhere else. If you are around number 37, you will probably see me standing by the door watching the bikes go by. It’s a decent place to spend the day and the tea stall nearby is good.
