Premier Glass Art Studio

Our studio is tucked away in Ghorpade Peth, occupying the 680 and 679 plots. It's a busy part of the city, and there’s always something going on outside our doors. Working with glass means we have to be careful, so the shop is usually organized in a way that keeps the breakables safe. We’ve got different types of glass sheets leaning against the walls and small scraps everywhere. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where we create everything. We spend a lot of time cutting, grinding, and fitting pieces together. It’s physical work and your hands get pretty rough after a while. We started out small and just stayed in this same spot as we got more work. People from the surrounding areas know where to find us when they want something specific for their homes or offices. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people walking in. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when the heat gets to be too much. The building is old, and it has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the rain. We don't mind. It feels like home to us now. Every day there is a new challenge with a different design, and we just figure it out as we go along. It's honest work. We don't think much about the noise from the street, we just keep working on the glass until it's finished.
