Prateek Pan Shop

You’ll find Prateek Pan Shop out on Moti Shah Road in the Hinjawadi Kopergaon Estate area. This part of town has become really busy with all the offices and buildings going up, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We’ve got a small corner where we set up our jars and containers. It’s mostly just me and a cousin who help out. We serve the people working in the nearby estates who need a break or something after their lunch. We carry a variety of pans, some sweet and some plain. We also have matches, batteries, and other small bits and pieces people often forget to buy. The shop isn't much to look at, just a basic stall with a metal roof. When it’s busy, there’s a bit of a crowd around the front, but we move as fast as we can. We get our leaves delivered fresh every few days. We don't use any corporate talk or have a fancy mission statement. We just want to sell pan and keep our customers satisfied so they come back tomorrow. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in Hinjawadi. Moti Shah Road is always dusty and loud, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re just a small part of this big, busy neighborhood.
