You can find us at 535, Ganesh Peth. We go by Prashant Trading Co. and we’ve been in this part of town for quite some time. Ganesh Peth is one of those places that never really seems to sleep. There are always people moving goods and carts rattling over the pavement. Our building at 535 is right in the thick of it. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of boxes and ledgers. We do a lot of trading, so there is always something coming in or going out the door. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space we have. The walls are a bit old and the ceiling is high, which helps when it gets hot in the afternoons. We don’t have any fancy signs or big displays. Most people know us just by the address or the name Prashant Trading Co. written on the door. We spend our mornings checking orders and the rest of the day making sure everything gets to where it needs to go. It’s a lot of talking to people and keeping track of numbers. The neighborhood is full of other traders, so we are always in good company. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a local trading business trying to do things the right way. It’s been our home for years and we don’t plan on moving anytime soon.
