Prashant Lakhotiya Shree Gajanan Jyotish

This is the place for Shree Gajanan Jyotish, located over in Vadgaon Budruk, specifically in the Naigaum 5 area. I am Prashant Lakhotiya. I've been doing this for quite some time now. People come to see me from all over the neighborhood. The setup is quite modest. I have a small room where I sit with my books and charts. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a comfortable space where people can come and talk. I started out because I had an interest in this and it just turned into my daily work. My family has lived in Vadgaon Budruk for a long time, so I know a lot of the faces that walk by. We don’t do any big promotions or put up giant banners. Usually, it’s just word of mouth that keeps us going. If someone feels like we helped them, they tell their neighbor or a relative. That’s how a local place like this should work, I think. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the bikes and the kids playing, but inside it’s fairly quiet. I don’t use any complicated software or anything. Just the traditional ways I learned from the people before me. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy. I like being part of the community here in Naigaum. There’s no need to pretend to be something we aren’t. We’re just here when people decide to stop by.
