Advait Jyotish

At Advait Jyotish, we spend most of our time in Budhwar Peth. Our place is in the Ramaiah Layout, specifically units 208 and 209. It is a quiet corner compared to the main roads, which helps when you are trying to focus. We have been in this layout for a good while. The rooms are basic, just enough space for our books and the chairs for people to sit. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks when the mail comes, but mostly it is peaceful. We usually open up early in the morning when the air is still cool. The stairs up to the units are a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time. We keep a small fan going because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. There is a tea stall just around the corner that makes the best ginger tea, and we usually get a few cups throughout the day. The walls are painted a light color that has faded over the years. We don't mind. It feels like home to us. People find us by word of mouth mostly. They walk through the layout, look for the numbers 208 and 209, and just knock. It is a simple way to run things. We like the routine of it. Every day is pretty much the same, and that suits us just fine.
