Balaji Jyotish Karyalay

Started this place a while back in Chinchwad Gidc Estate Phase Ii. We sit at plot 15. People come by when they have things on their mind. It’s mostly locals from the estate or nearby areas. We look at charts and talk about what might happen next in life. There’s no fancy office here. It’s just a room where we work. Sometimes it gets loud outside because of the industrial area. Life in the Gidc is busy, but inside here, things are a bit slower. We spend a lot of time reading and checking dates. It isn't always easy to explain what we do, but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. Usually, someone is around most of the day. We don’t have a big sign or anything. Just the name Balaji Jyotish Karyalay on the door. If you are walking around Phase Ii, you’ll see the building. It’s not a corporate place. We drink a lot of tea and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes people stay for five minutes, sometimes an hour. It depends on what they need to know. We try to keep things simple. No big promises or fancy words. Just the work we’ve been doing for years. It gets dusty being near the industrial shops, but we keep the place tidy enough for visitors. The chairs are a bit old, but they work. We don't really change much around here because it feels right the way it is. We keep the lights low during the afternoon.
