This is Prasanna Stores. We’re over in Vishrantwadi Usmanpura 55/2, right in the middle of everything. It’s not a very big shop, just a single room really. I sell mostly daily groceries and some stationery for the school kids. They come in after class wanting pens or snacks. The shelves are old wooden ones that my uncle built. They hold up well enough. I don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign and come in. I’ve had the same fridge for ten years now. It still keeps the drinks cold, so I keep using it. The floor is concrete and a bit worn down in the middle. Sometimes the rain leaks in through the front door, so I have to keep a mop handy. I stay open quite late most nights. It’s quieter then, and I can catch up on my accounts. It’s just me working here most days. Occasionally, my brother stops by to help with the heavy lifting. We don't have any fancy displays. Everything is just stacked where there is space. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but I know exactly where every single item is kept. It took me years to organize it this way. I don't plan on changing much about the place anytime soon. It’s just a neighborhood shop that does what it’s supposed to do for the people nearby.
