Prasad Mobile Electronics

Bhosari is where we stay, and Prasad Mobile Electronics is right in the thick of it. The shop is small, and every inch of wall space is covered with chargers, cables, and phone cases. We spend most of our hours sitting behind the glass counter with a small screwdriver in hand. It’s tedious work sometimes, looking at tiny screws and trying to fix a screen that someone dropped. The smell of solder is pretty common here. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. People just walk in because their phone stopped charging or the battery is acting up. We take a look, tell them if we can fix it, and how much it will cost. There’s no sugarcoating it. If it’s broken beyond help, we say so. The traffic in Bhosari is constant, so there is always a background hum of horns and engines coming through the open door. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep a small fan running near the workbench. We’ve seen all kinds of gadgets come through here, some old and some brand new. We just enjoy the challenge of figuring out why something isn't working. It’s a local shop for local people, and we like the regulars who come in just to chat while they wait for a repair. We keep things simple and just focus on the electronics. Usually, we are cleaning up glass shards from the floor at the end of the day.
