Our shop is over at Camp M C Layout on Magadi Main Road 353. Power Telecom is just a regular place where we deal with phones and connections. The road outside is always busy with people heading into the city. We open up and the first thing we do is check if the internet is working. It’s a simple setup. We have a counter, some shelves with phone cases, and a small area in the back for repairs. It’s not very big, so we have to stay organized. Most of the day is spent talking to customers about their bills or trying to fix a phone that won't turn on. You get used to the sounds of the Magadi Main Road—the buses, the street vendors, and the general hum of the neighborhood. We don't use any fancy systems. We write things down in a notebook and keep track of who owes what. It’s a very local way of doing things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there in the dark for a bit, chatting with whoever is in the shop. It’s a friendly enough place. We don't have any corporate rules. We just treat people like neighbors because most of them are. If someone is short a few rupees, we tell them to bring it next time. That’s how we operate. It’s just us, doing our thing on the main road.
