Popular Steel Arts is located on Chikhlee Dehu Moshi Road, at number 15. If you drive past, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal being cut or the flash of a welding torch. We are a workshop that works with steel every day. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and we have different machines for bending and shaping the iron. It’s a dusty, loud environment but that’s just how steel work is. We make things like gates, grills, and other custom metal pieces that people need for their houses or businesses. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; we just have our tools and the raw materials stacked up in the back. Most of the day is spent wearing heavy gloves and safety glasses, trying to get the measurements just right. The road outside is quite busy with trucks and people moving toward the industrial zones. We’ve been at this spot on Dehu Moshi Road for quite some time now. People around here know us for the work we do. It’s hard manual labor and your hands get dirty within the first five minutes of the shift. We just take the orders as they come and try to get the steel pieces finished according to what the customer asked for. It’s a simple, honest workshop and that’s how we like it.
