Poonam Computers

Poonam Computers is right on the Pune Satara Road in the Dhanakawadi area. We actually take up units A3, A4, and A5, so we have a bit more room than some of the other shops nearby. Being on such a main road means there is always something going on outside. The noise of the traffic is constant, but you stop noticing it after the first hour of work. We’ve filled up those units with all kinds of computer stock—monitors, cables, hard drives, you name it. It's a bit of a maze inside sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives and we haven't had time to clear the aisles yet. We’ve been in Dhanakawadi for years now and we know most of the people who walk past our doors every day. Sometimes people just pop in for a quick chat about their old laptop or to see if we have a specific part they can't find anywhere else. We don't have a corporate manual or a dress code here. We just wear what's comfortable and get to work. Dealing with computers can be frustrating for people, so we try to keep things relaxed when they bring their gear to us at A3/A4/A5. It's not a fancy showroom, it's a working shop. We take pride in just knowing our trade and being available when someone’s computer decides to stop working at the worst possible time. It's what we do, and we've been doing it a long time now.
