Poona Hospital And Research Centre

Our place is located at No. 27 Sadashiv Peth, which is a very traditional part of the city. You will find that the street is always packed with cycles, scooters, and people walking to the nearby markets. The hospital building itself is quite large for this area, and it has several floors where all the different wards are. We have a small area near the entrance where people can park their two-wheelers, though it fills up very fast in the morning. Inside, the lights are bright and the tiles are a bit old-fashioned. We have a lot of people coming in for checkups every day. The nurses usually stay very busy moving between the different rooms and checking on everyone. It’s not one of those modern buildings made of all glass and steel, it’s more of a solid brick and mortar place that has seen a lot of years. There is a small canteen nearby where the staff goes to get vada pav and tea during their breaks. We keep the patient records in big metal filing cabinets because that’s the way we’ve always done it. It takes a bit of time to find things sometimes, but we know where everything is. The atmosphere is mostly serious because of the work we do, but the staff likes to joke around a bit in the staff room to keep things light when they can during a long shift.
