I usually get here a little before ten to sweep the front and get the displays ready. We have a lot of different phones, from the expensive ones to the ones that just do the basics. A lot of people come in looking for second-hand phones because they are cheaper, so we try to keep a few of those in the cabinet. I spend a lot of time helping people set up their new phones, moving their photos and contacts over. It takes time and sometimes the cables don't want to work, but we get it done eventually. The shop is often full of the sound of ringtones as we test things out. We also sell a lot of memory cards and those little screen cleaners. It’s a busy road, so there is always a lot of noise outside. We don't have a big team, just me and my brother. We take turns going for tea. It is a simple life and the work is steady. We don't make big promises, we just show people what we have and let them decide. It's just a regular shop for regular people who need their phones working. We try to keep the shelves stocked and the floor clean.
