Plaza Battery

Plaza Battery is a small shop located at Shop No 2, right by the Kamela Darwaja in Hadapsar. It’s a busy corner of the world and there’s always a lot of noise from the street. We deal with all kinds of batteries for cars, bikes, and home inverters. The shop is pretty small, so we have to stack the boxes high to make everything fit. It’s mostly just me and a helper here most days. When a customer comes in with a dead battery, they’re usually in a hurry and a bit stressed, so we try to test things quickly. We have some old testing equipment that still works perfectly fine. The area around Kamela Darwaja is very local and traditional. You won't find anything high-tech or polished about our storefront. It’s just a place to get your power issues sorted. Sometimes it gets a bit dark inside the shop because of all the shelves, but we know our way around. Working in Hadapsar means we see a mix of old residents and new people moving into the apartments nearby. Dealing with heavy lead-acid batteries is hard on the back, but it's the life we chose. We don't have a website or a big marketing plan. People just know we are here at Shop No 2 and they stop by when their vehicle won't start. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of Pune and we enjoy the daily interactions.
