Pinaki Industries

Pinaki Industries is located out on Walekarwadi Road in Chinchwad. The address is Survey No 25-5, but locals just call it the Walekarwadi area. It’s a bit industrial around here, not like the fancy shopping malls you see in other parts of the city. We are near Kanch Pada, and the roads can get pretty rough when it rains. There’s always a lot of dust from the trucks passing by. I spend a lot of time cleaning the front area just to keep things looking decent. We’ve been operating here for a while now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place to do our work and keep our equipment. Most of our days are spent handling orders and talking to the drivers who come in and out. It’s a lot of manual work and the hours can be long. We don't really do much advertising. People in Chinchwad know where we are if they need something. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to talk to the guys from the shops next door. It’s a tight community of workers out here. We just try to get the jobs done and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do and it keeps the lights on for us.
