I run things out of my place here in Camellia Apartment, which is Flat 101 in Wanowarie. It’s right near Jambhulkar Chowk, so there is always the sound of traffic and horns blowing throughout the day. My setup is pretty simple, just a dedicated room with a desk, a couple of chairs, and my computer. It’s not a big corporate office, just a home-based workspace where I get through my daily tasks. I spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages. Since I’m right near the chowk, I can see people rushing around while I’m sitting at my window. It is convenient because I don't have a long commute, but it also means I end up working at odd hours sometimes when a project needs to get finished. I usually have a stack of books and papers on the corner of the table that I mean to organize but never quite get around to. When people need to see me, they just come over to the apartment and we sit in the living area or at my desk. It feels more relaxed than being in a high-rise building. I’ve been living and working in this part of Wanowarie for some time, so I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It is just me here, making sure things stay on track. There's always some coffee on the go and plenty of work to keep me occupied through the week.
